Team Leader

Position Overview The Team Leader contributes to the success of the company by assisting in the daily operations of the restaurant. The responsibility is to help direct the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager or Assistant Manager while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation. The Team Leader also handles issues with team members, food suppliers, and guests directly and escalates them to upper management when necessary. Key Areas of Responsibility Provide supervision during assigned shifts. Deliver a positive experience and atmosphere for team members and guests. Manage both FOH and BOH shift responsibilities, helping to control daily labor costs as assigned by management. Monitor speed of service to ensure a positive guest experience. Assist with guest comments and complaints. Supervise daily shifts to ensure company standards, product quality, and cleanliness are maintained. Assist in ongoing training of team members, including new hires and existing staff, to ensure company procedures and processes are followed. Encourage adherence to uniform policy and standards. Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Open and close the restaurant when upper management is absent. All other duties as assigned by management.
