Sterile Processing Technician

The Sterile Processing Technician performs routine work in the decontamination, assembly, testing, and instruments in a medical facility, under the supervision of the Supervisor of Sterile Processing. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. This is the first level of a three-level series. It is distinguished from the higher levels by the absence of responsibility for performing advanced and complicated sterilization, assembly and testing of medical equipment, supplies and instruments. Preferred Qualifications: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (HSCPA) upon hire or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CBSPD) upon hire Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
