Registered Nurse (RN) – Psychiatric

Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, Weekend as needed

Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and mental health assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, psychological, and behavioral status.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with psychiatrists, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Administer and monitor psychiatric medications, including oral and injectable medications, and observe for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions.
• Provide crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and de-escalation techniques to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Monitor patients' mental status, behavior, and response to treatment, documenting observations accurately and timely.
