Interventional Radiology Technologist
Schedule: Days (40 hrs/week) - Shift: 8:30 AM 7:00 PM, MondayFriday with a rotating day off. On-call requirements include one primary weekday + one backup weekday per month and one weekend every six weeks (alternating primary/backup).
Assignment Details: Patient population: Adults / Geriatrics.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist.
- Experience in Trauma Level I preferred.
- Community hospital experience preferred.
- Required certifications/licenses: BLS, ARRT, and state license.
- Proficient with Siemens imaging equipment and interventional procedures.
- PACS experience required; EPIC experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with interventional procedures including biopsies, drainages, angiography, angioplasty, stents, embolization, TIPS, IVC filters, nephrostomy, and gastrostomy.
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure quality control and patient safety during procedures.
- Document procedures and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record.
Compliance / Notes: Strict credentialing and fingerprinting deadlines must be met. Medical exemptions for flu vaccines considered, while COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
