Respiratory Therapist

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC
• Recent Level 1 or Level 2 experience required
• Experience with EKGs, bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry
• Driver's license required at submittal

Assignment Details

• 12-hour shifts
• Shift hours: 7-7
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: rotate with permanent staff
• Floating required to different areas throughout the hospital in the respiratory therapy capacity
• Team scheduling
• Patient population includes neonates to geriatrics
• Coverage includes inpatient care across all areas and floors
• Charting system: EPIC
• Hospitalist or Intensivist in house 24/7
• Lead therapist available on each shift
• Orientation includes 3 12-hour unit-specific shifts
