The TRG Growth Practice is excited to be partnering with a growing manufacturing client to identify a Manufacturing Engineer for a key operation in the Richmond, Virginia area. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a stable organization experiencing exciting growth and take on a highly visible engineering role focused on improving equipment, processes, reliability, and overall manufacturing performance.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who wants to be close to the manufacturing floor and enjoys solving real-world technical challenges alongside operators, maintenance, and production leadership. You’ll have the opportunity to troubleshoot equipment and process issues, drive root cause corrective actions, design tooling and fixtures, and lead capital and expense projects from concept through implementation. Just as importantly, you'll help build a culture of continuous improvement by engaging the people closest to the process and turning their ideas into sustainable solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
\n
• Strong hands-on understanding of mechanical systems, automation, and industrial manufacturing equipment
\n
• Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience with the ability to drive sustainable corrective actions
\n
• Experience managing capital and expense projects from concept and justification through installation, training, startup, and handoff
\n
• Experience designing or improving tooling, fixtures, equipment, and manufacturing layouts
\n
• Familiarity with TPM, predictive maintenance, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement methodologies
\n
