Student Employment

Location: NAS Whidbey Island, Washington Type: Student Employment, Part-time Rate of Pay: $17.13 per hour (Pay range may vary based on geographic location) Purpose: To provide work opportunity for those students eligible for the Work-Study program. Essential Functions Greet Students Collect Paperwork Assist with filing and scanning documents Create informational packets Assist with special projects Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must Complete FAFSA (Domestic Students) Enrolled/Attending at least half-time for regular semester sessions. Must not be on Financial Aid Suspension or Academic Suspension. Ability to maintain confidential information. Ability to fluently read, write, and understand the English language. Proficiency with the following, but not limited to: active listening; speaking; writing; critical thinking; judgment and decision making; monitoring; reading comprehension; time management; coordination; and management of personnel resources. Proficiency in using a variety of computer and technology-related software and equipment, including Microsoft Office products and database systems. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with or without direct supervision. Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
