What you’ll Do:

▪ Case management from inception through post-trial.

▪ Assist with drafting, formatting, and proof-reading legal documents and correspondence.

▪ Assist attorneys with preparation for depositions, hearings, and mediations.

▪ Review and organization of document production.

▪ Draft and respond to written discovery.

▪ Assist attorneys with motions by proofreading and compiling exhibits.

▪ Assist with all aspects of trial preparation.

▪ Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts regarding case updates and scheduling.

▪ Calculate damages such as lost wages and medical expenses.

What We’re Looking For:

▪ Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate.

▪ 3+ years’ experience in civil litigation.

▪ Working knowledge of court rules and civil procedures.

▪ Proficient with MS Office Suite, and willingness to learn new software systems.

▪ High level of integrity, discretion, and ownership of work product.

▪ Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.

▪ Sound judgment and strong analytical thinking skills.

▪ Strong work ethic and motivation to take initiative.

Compensation & Benefits:

▪ Hourly pay range of $38-$48, depending on experience (overtime paid at 1.5 the hourly rate)

▪ Generous benefits package includes full health coverage and paid vacation time
