Contract | Nights | 4x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit serving a 50% Medical / 50% Telemetry adult patient population
• Manage patients requiring tracheostomy care, mechanical ventilation, and vasoactive drips
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 4–6:1 using standard telemetry unit equipment and EPIC EMR
• Perform and interpret EKG monitoring as part of routine patient assessment
• Float to other units as needed per standard facility expectations
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day); standard weekend expectation of every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• EKG interpretation competency required
• Minimum 1+ year of Critical Care experience required
• Flu vaccination required November 1 – April 1 (facility-approved exemptions only)
• Must be available the entire first week for orientation (night shift orients on day shift)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with tracheostomy care, mechanical ventilators, and drip management
• Prior experience in a combined ICU and Stepdown environment
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Strong team-oriented mindset with a focus on positive patient outcomes and superior communication
