As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utility location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to assigned locations, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
