Responsibilities Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence Conduct and defend depositions Attend court appearances, mediations, and hearings Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts Assist with trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings as opportunities arise Maintain timely reporting and case updates Qualifications Active membership in the State Bar of California Minimum 1 year of civil litigation experience preferred Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments Experience with law and motion practice, discovery, and court appearances preferred Interest in long‑term professional development and litigation practice growth Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $130,000 - $200,000 annually, depending on experience Annual billing and performance-based bonus opportunities Hybrid remote work flexibility Medical plans including options with zero employee contribution Dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance 401(k) with employer matching vested immediately upon enrollment Flexible schedules and parental/family leave benefits Equal Opportunity Statement Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
