Facility: Cherry Hill Nursing and Rehab
Location: Westland, MI

Cherry Hill Nursing and Rehab, a welcoming skilled nursing facility in Westland, Michigan , is seeking an experienced Full-Time Cook to join our dietary team.

In this role, you will help prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals that meet established dietary guidelines and resident preferences. Your culinary skills and dedication will help ensure residents receive a high-quality dining experience every day.
Schedule

Full-Time
Approximately 40 hours per week
Schedule may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements
• Follow portion control standards and special diet orders accurately
• Prepare food using standardized recipes and proper food safety procedures
• Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment
• Assist with food storage and inventory rotation in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff to ensure meals are served on time and according to resident needs
• Follow all state, federal, and facility dietary guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum one (1) year of cooking experience required
• Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
• Culinary training is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable, organized, and committed to resident satisfaction
