This facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support gastroenterology clinic coverage in Jacksonville, Texas. The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized care for a patient population spanning all ages. Locum tenens gastroenterology nurse practitioner coverage is sought through at least July 2027.

Jacksonville, Texas offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural attractions. Notable destinations include Love's Lookout State Park with panoramic views, Lake Jacksonville - a 1,300-acre reservoir that supports boating and fishing - and the 7,000-acre Neches River National Wildlife Refuge for wildlife exploration and trails. The area also features the Cherokee Trace Drive-Thru Safari, River Run ATV Park, the Vanishing Texana Museum, and a downtown district with local dining, nearby wineries, and the Texas Basket Company factory store.

The gastroenterology nurse practitioner will provide clinic-based GI coverage on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in support of regional GI clinic access. This locum tenens assignment is structured to drive procedural volume through the Jacksonville digestive disease clinic in coordination with a locum GI proceduralist. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for consideration.
