Job Description Neurohospitalist Opportunity in Covington, LALocated 40m to New Orleans and 1hr to Baton RougePosition DetailsFull-time, permanent7/7 schedule, flexible281 bed hospital50 member groupShared Call and RotationConsult only serviceno primary patientsDedicated Hospitalists and nocturnists cover nightsTele stroke covers any stroke codes and tPA decisions.Continuous EEG monitoring is availableE-ICU intensivist support with open ICUs at the community hospitalsEPIC medical record system with remote access capabilitiesDedicated RN and Social Work Clinical Care CoordinatorsCommunity based academic appointmentDistinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence award in 3 medical specialtiesLeadership support focused on professional development, quality improvement, and academic committees & projectsOpportunities for leadership development, research, resident and medical student teachingCompensation: Fair market value according to MGMA years of experienceBase plus up to 40K in incentivesCompany OverviewHigh performing, 5-Star health system in attractive community on north shore of Lake Pontchartrain across from New Orleans.
