Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Location: Maryland

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), with every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in critical care and emergency services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As part of a team in a Primary Stroke Center, you will handle urgent care and critical care needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, particularly for stroke and STEMI cases.
• Manage and monitor patients using advanced equipment and technologies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Cerner.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an emergency department.
• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• Experience with charting in Cerner is preferred.
