Payroll SpecialistImmediate need for a talented Payroll Specialist. This is a 06 Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano TX (Onsite).Job ID:26-25516 Pay Range: $30 - $33/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Fulfill day-to-day functions of the payroll service team including but not limited to: Kronos timecard maintenance, Workday HRIS data integrity, accurate payroll process management via UltiPro, time accrual management and auditing of data sets between various payroll source systemsEnsure client company representatives utilize appropriate processing procedures within federal, state and local compliance regulationsEffectively manage relationships within defined SLAs while providing on-going research, resolution, product support and a superior customer experience to workers, HR, accounting, retirement program and benefits administrators, as well as payroll and timekeeping vendorsAct as the Level 2 Customer Experience team for payroll related inquiries submitted via Service Request ticketing system, phone and other various channels (inc. team email box management)Evaluate processes and procedural documents for increased efficiencies and opportunities for continuous improvementManage leaves of absence and calculation of supplemental benefit paymentsSupport Sr. Payroll Analysts in delivering high-quality results to payroll customersSupport reoccurring and ad hoc reporting including production of basic to intermediate reporting to various internal and external stakeholdersSupport various project initiatives including collection of user requirements for system enhancements and solutionsSupport periodic and cumulative audit processes for monthly, quarterly and annual activitiesOther duties as assignedKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Demonstrated performance as NASSC Tier 1 Agent will be accepted in place of the below qualifications3 years of US & CAN work experience in a payroll role, preferably in a 3rd party payroll or shared service environment2 years in customer service related field and ability to demonstrate strong customer relationship skillsExperience with top tier payroll and HRIS systems (UKGPro [UltiPro], UKG WFC [Kronos], UKG WFD [Dimensions] Workday or similar)Ability to troubleshoot and resolve requests using pre-defined and creative solutionsExpertly interpret, create and present a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule formProduce measurable results in a collaborative team environment as well as independently to manage time and priorities while achieving defined personal and team goalsPayroll audit, control, quality assurance and/or tax management experiencePayroll accounting experience including GL posting, accruals and reconciliation of payroll expensesDemonstrate intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPointAPA Fundamental Payroll Certificate (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designations preferredBachelor's degree preferredSupport Payroll Accuracy SLA at or above current SSC requirementsSupport payroll team Service Request Ticket resolution SLA at or above current SSC requirementsEnsure key quality control activities are completed according to established schedule and guidelinesSupport team projects and continuous improvement initiativesOur client is a leading IT Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
