We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Davis, CA. Job Description: As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to identify and address communication and language disorders. Your role will involve assessing student needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing effective therapeutic interventions to enhance students' communication skills and academic performance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals. Monitor and track student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Provide guidance and support to teachers and parents on strategies to support students' communication development. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of California. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Experience working in a school setting or with children is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and families. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
