Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe medical reports and records accurately and efficiently
• Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure all transcribed documents adhere to industry standards and regulations
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information
• Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictation
• Organize and prioritize transcription tasks to meet deadlines
• Keep up-to-date with medical terminology and industry developments

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification in medical transcription preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical transcription
• Proficient in medical terminology and transcription software
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
