Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology and transcription, as well as excellent attention to detail and time management skills. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will play a crucial role in accurately transcribing medical reports and records for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe medical reports and records accurately and efficiently
- Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure all transcribed documents adhere to industry standards and regulations
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information
- Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictation
- Organize and prioritize transcription tasks to meet deadlines
- Keep up-to-date with medical terminology and industry developments
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification in medical transcription preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical transcription
- Proficient in medical terminology and transcription software
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
