Location: 1130 Crosstown Court, Peachtree City, GA 30269 VCA Braelinn Village Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team! About Us VCA Braelinn Village is an AAHA-accredited, multi-doctor practice offering a variety of services including Primary Care, Intensive Care, Advanced Surgery, Dentistry, and more. Compensation Compensation: the pay range for this position in $16-$20/hr Hours Our hours are Monday through Thursday 7am - 8pm, Friday 7am - 6pm, Saturday 8am - 5pm, closed Sunday. Website Check out our website here: About The Role As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include: Compassionate patient care Client education and care Laboratory sample collection and processing Radiology and diagnostic testing Medication preparation and administration IV fluids and infusion set up and maintenance Blood draws and catheter placement Anesthesia monitoring Dentistry procedures Surgical assisting Safe and effective patient handling Medical recordkeeping Qualifications A year or more of small animal Veterinary Assisting experience Able to proficiently perform Veterinary Assisting skills including duties listed above Why VCA VCA Animal Hospitals is a community of over 800 hospitals across the US, including primary care, urgent care, emergency, and specialty medicine.
