Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Symmetry Workforce Solutions - Jefferson Health Program.

Additional Details:

Required to pass a basic Relias EKG exam for all units except Behavioral Triage with a score of 88% or higher. Will be given 3 attempts.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have diverse experience. - Experience from a large teaching facility, not LTACH or critical access hospital. - Teaching hospital experience is required. - Anticoagulation management.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Critical Care Float Pool experience preferred. - Shock management. - Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.

Special Requests: - RTO required at the time of submission.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Float pool covers 7 ICUs at LVHN Cedar Crest, including MICU/SICU, medical-surgical ICU, open heart unit, cardiac ICU, trauma/neuro ICU, neuroscience ICU, and burn. - Shock management will be for medication management.

Shift & Scheduling: - No call. - Weekend requirement: Every other. - Holiday requirement: Every other.

Floating Requirements: - Will be required to float to all Critical Care Units or to MS or Low Level Monitoring if needed. ICU ratio 1-2 or 3 and MS and LLM ratio up to 4.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
