Business is ramping up for the second half of the year, and we need to add Compounding associates on the following shifts:

• 1st Shift 6:30 am 3:00 pm / Mon Fri
• 2nd Shift 2:30 pm 11:00 pm / Mon Fri (+ $ 1.00 Shift Premium)
• 3rd Shift 10:30 pm - 7:00 am / Sun - Fri (+ $ 1.50 shift premium)

Job Summary

The Compounder is responsible for preparing large batches of liquid, powder, or solid products by following predetermined recipes prior to the filling process. This is a very physical role that requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and handling of raw materials and equipment throughout the shift. The Compounder must follow safety, quality, and production procedures to ensure batches are prepared accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with company standards.

This Is What You Will Do:

• Weigh and measure chemicals in the proper amounts following the formula.
• Verify pre-weighed chemicals before use.
• Follow batching instructions provided by the R&D department.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Follow regulatory and company practices and procedures.
• Properly complete paperwork.
• Perform housekeeping duties and cleaning according to expectations.
• Use RF scanner and/or AS400 system using a computer.
• Communicate effectively with others.
• Maintain a good attendance record.
• Pump products between storage vessels and tanks.
• Comply with expected efficiencies regarding batch and process step completion and accuracy.
• Perform process to reduce errors per gallon below established trend and drive toward continuous improvement
• Perform work onsite.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This Is What You Will Need:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary education in chemistry.
• 1 year of compounding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow written directions exactly.
• Proven ability to use weights and measures accurately.
• Understanding of chemical properties.
• Ability to comprehend regulatory standards and company policies and procedures.
• Ability to organize priorities.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English competently.
• Ability to pass an on-site work skills test
• Ability to maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
• Ability to work on-site.
• Advanced math skills (preferred).
• Ability to operate a stand-up forklift (preferred).
• Experience with RF scanners (preferred).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision (preferred).
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to analyze minor mechanical problems and resolve them (preferred).
• Intermediate reading and writing skills (preferred).
