Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts with 32 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment starting 6/29/2026
• Must be willing to float to multiple facilities: Aspirus Merrill, Aspirus Wausau, Aspirus Stanley, and Aspirus Medford
• Call requirements: every 4th weekend, 1-2 weekdays, and holiday rotation
• Weekend rotation: every 4th weekend
• Holiday rotation required
• Required certifications: WI or compact RN License, BLS and ACLS (Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications)
• Minimum 2+ years of OR experience required
• Epic charting system preferred
• Work in 3 ORs and 1 GI procedure room
• Required skills: Ortho, General Surgery, GI, pain, OB/GYN, cataracts experience preferred but not required
• Must be flexible candidate with excellent work ethic and willing to perform downtime tasks
• Scrub colors provided by facility
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius from facility
• Associate Degree or Certificate required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours with potential for call-back pay (2-hour minimum)
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy

This healthcare facility operates as part of a comprehensive health system serving multiple communities across the region. The facility features modern operating room suites and GI procedure rooms, providing a wide range of surgical services including orthopedic, general surgery, GI procedures, pain management, OB/GYN, and ophthalmology procedures. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic electronic medical records system to ensure seamless care coordination across their network of facilities.
