Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

LPN/LVN - Emergency RoomLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assignment for a 13-week contract working variable 12-hour shifts (3x12 schedule) in an Emergency Department setting. This role focuses on providing patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, with an emphasis on pediatric emergency cases. The LPN will assist with clinical procedures, patient flow, and coordination of care while working closely with the healthcare team. The schedule includes every other weekend and some holiday coverage, with 36 guaranteed hours per week.Requirements:Minimum 1 year of LPN experienceActive New York State LPN license requiredCPR certification required (or ability to obtain/re-certify)Emergency Department experience requiredPediatric ED experience requiredMust be able to start IVs and perform phlebotomyInpatient experience preferredExperience with Electronic Medical Records preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills
