Maintenance Technician II (Must be able to work all shifts)

Performs needed repairs when required. Researches, suggests, and implements systemAnalyzes malfunctioning machines and systems (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.) and makes necessary repairs, adjustments, modifications, subject to managementRepairs production equipment, plant equipment, and related facilities as directed. This includes boilers, air compressors and refrigerationAnalyzes and repairs specialized equipment heavily dependent on electrical controls, microprocessors controls, electro-mechanical mechanisms, and related components under generalMaintains a working understanding of plant production processes, equipment systems and facilities, in order to perform maintenance effectively under generalHas sufficient knowledge to be able to operate equipment for diagnostic and break relief as required.Performs all work in a safe and professional manner and reports safety deficienciesOrders parts and materials as required for assignedMaintains professional and appropriate dress, hygiene and personalThis job description reflects management's assignments of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may beAccountable to the GMP Food Safety and Quality PrinciplesQualifications:Minimum:A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).Must be able to read, write and speak English.
