Responsibilities Performs accurate radiologic exams, employing proper techniques and positioning. Assists in training radiography students. Communicates effectively with patients to obtain history, explain procedures, and reduce anxiety. Recognizes and addresses clinical or emergent issues to ensure successful exams. Ensures correct patient identification and accurate record tracking. Maintains radiation safety protocols and a safe, clean environment. Operates imaging equipment per manufacturer guidelines and stays updated on technological advancements. Participates in performance improvement initiatives and departmental meetings. Qualifications & Skills Recent hospital radiology technologist experience preferred. Ability to perform on-call, shift, holiday, and weekend duties. Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records. Clear communication, confidentiality, and crisis management skills. Customer service orientation. Knowledge of radiation safety and equipment operation. Credentials & Education Delaware State Radiation license and DE licensing. BLS certification.
