Sourcing Analyst

Senior Sourcing Analyst, IT and AI Procurement Salary range: $63,800.00 - $130,600.00 per year. The Senior Sourcing Analyst partners closely with the Assistant Director of Procurement and business stakeholders to support strategic sourcing, contracting, vendor management, and procurement initiatives within a professional services environment focused on software procurement. Job Description This role is responsible for developing sourcing strategy, executing RFx events, negotiating contracts, analyzing spend, managing vendors, identifying cost savings, and ensuring successful project delivery of vendor contracts. Key responsibilities include: Conduct spend/usage analyses, market research, and supplier landscape assessment to identify cost savings, risk mitigation, and value creation opportunities. Partner with stakeholders to define business requirements, develop RFx documents, and evaluate vendor proposals. Support negotiation strategies for vendor agreements, statements of work (SOWs), software licensing agreements, and other commercial contracts. Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Security, and stakeholders throughout contract review and execution. Identify opportunities for demand management and operational efficiencies. Lead project planning, stakeholder communications, and status reporting. Deliver presentations and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. Qualifications 3 to 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or supply chain with a focus on technology spend. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, IT, Mathematics, or related field. Experience sourcing and contracting for software, SaaS, cloud services, AI solutions, technology consulting, telecommunications, and other IT-related categories. Knowledge of AI technologies and AI service providers such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot. Experience utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot. Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts in partnership with Legal teams. Previous experience in a professional services or public accounting environment is a plus. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with contract lifecycle management tools such as Icertis. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 applications. Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, CPM, PMP, CPIM, Six Sigma. Project Management skills. Remote Work This is a Remote role, with a preference for candidates in Eastern and Central time zones.
