Grow your career.### The RoleThe Strategic Initiatives Project Manager supports the planning, execution, delivery and change management of high-priority enterprise or multi-divisional initiatives that advance organizational goals. This role partners with cross-functional leaders and project teams to translate strategy into actionable plans, manage timelines, risks and dependencies, tracks progress, and ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout implementation.### Key ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager will have the following key responsibilities which include, but are not limited to:* Supports business leaders in developing and prioritizing the roadmap for internal initiatives* Serves as the central point of contact to oversee all phases of the project, including project initiation, planning and execution, monitoring and controlling, and closing* Developing, managing, and adjusting project plans based on scope, timeline, and cost implications* Communicating effectively with all project stakeholders including preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information* Escalating key issues and risks and providing recommendations to facilitate decision making* Following processes and utilizing project management tools such as templates and software* May be responsible for business analysis tasks such as, but not limited to, eliciting and documenting requirements or coordinating testing if an analyst is not assigned to a specific project* Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary### ### Skills and Experience* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required* 3+ years of project management experience involving multiple business units and IT required* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, preferred* Track record of success driving cross-functional waterfall and agile-based projects* Ability to manage multiple priorities, synthesize information, and create executive-ready updates.* Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment* Aptitude to acclimate quickly to new project assignments and adapt to new working environments* Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion* Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and SharePoint and various project management tools/applications (i.e. Smartsheets, ClickUp)* Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to adapt communication styles and strategies to the audience### ### Additional details* Position is remote anywhere in the U.S, but will require working primarily in the Central Time Zone* Occasional travel up to 5% of the time* Position may occasionally require evening or weekend work to meet project deadlines**Nordic is an equal opportunity employer.
