Emergency Medicine Opportunity
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring an Emergency Medicine for a temporary assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for an Emergency Medicine:
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Provide care for adult patient populations • Apply Trauma Level I experience in patient care delivery • Perform simple laceration repair procedures • Perform incision and drainage of uncomplicated abscesses • Assist with foreign body removal • Apply splinting and immobilization techniques • Provide wound management services • Maintain a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery • Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) • Ensure CV is maintained in mm/yy-mm/yy format with explanations for any work history gaps over 30 days • Return any facility-issued equipment at the end of assignment
