Location: Santa Clara, CA – opportunity for an EHS Specialist. What You’ll Do An EHS professional who applies established EHS principles, practices, regulations, and internal standards, interacts with customers, and is solutions‑minded in completing EHS assignments. Responsibilities Project Management: Plan, conduct, and monitor assigned projects; facilitate scope definition; estimate and coordinate resources; achieve EHS targets aligned with business objectives. Technical: Apply technical knowledge to EHS programs and systems; benchmark internally; analyze data; report findings; communicate recommendations and action plans. Problem Solving/Innovation: Interpret problems, recommend solutions, analyze patterns and trends, improve methods and processes, and generate original solutions to problems. Organizational Interface: Build relationships with supervisors, project leaders, and stakeholders; prepare written communication and proposals; conduct reviews; provide audience‑targeted content; obtain approvals; promote collaboration and stakeholder satisfaction. Compliance: Support compliance with all applicable regulations and internal standards; identify potential EHS risks; stay current on changing requirements; generate performance data; contribute to EHS targets. Additional Responsibilities: Develop and maintain procedures and standards; coordinate EHS assessments; direct efforts of technicians and outside resources; assist with requests for capital expenditures, EHS checklists, project scopes, risk assessments; resolve EHS problems; provide training. Education & Experience Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree (± 16 years) in EHS, Occupational Health, Engineering, Science, Nursing, or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Masters Degree: Preferred – Masters in Nursing. Minimum Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Professional certification(s) desirable. Demonstrated competencies in Strategy Vision, Innovation, and Result Delivery. Technical Experience: Demonstrated competence in relevant technical areas.
