Your Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using both standardized tools and observational assessments.
• Create tailored therapy plans addressing immediate and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Implement individualized speech therapy sessions that enhance communication skills, language competence, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and family members to create a unified approach to care.
• Provide education to patients and families, empowering them to continue progress beyond sessions.
• Support the occasional delivery of inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments, ensuring holistic patient care throughout the journey.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with regulatory guidelines at state, federal, and organizational levels.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed of the latest advancements in the field through continuous education and peer interaction.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized educational institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Preferred Credentials

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hiring.
