Courtesy is seeking a friendly, customer‑focused individual to join our team as a Cafe Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items, and maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and respectfully, addressing any inquiries and providing assistance as needed. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our point‑of‑sale system. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and quality standards. Prepare and serve food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and salads, ensuring freshness and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas. Restock supplies as needed, including food items, cups, lids, and condiments. Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and cleaning tasks. Continuously strive to enhance the customer experience by providing personalized service and anticipating needs. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred. Barista experience preferred. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, sometimes until 6pm. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making changes. Knowledge of coffee and espresso beverages is a plus. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
