Endocrinologist Opportunity

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking to employ a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join the growing team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to become a member of our expanding network. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and strong communication with a commitment to outstanding patient care, teaching, and research.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing clinical care for primarily outpatients in the subspecialty of endocrinology at the newest satellite office in Freehold NJ with some clinical time at the Endocrinology, Diabetes Clinics, and inpatient service at JSUMC.
• Teaching, precepting, and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows in various settings, including clinical rotations, and case management discussions.
• Participating in departmental and hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives.
• Assisting the Section Chief in ensuring adequate physician staffing and coverage.
• Joining a collaborative network of experienced physicians, specialists, and support staff who foster a culture of collaboration with strong clinical support.
• Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

Qualifications include:

• M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
• Board certified/eligible in endocrinology
• NJ Medical License, CDS and DEA

Compensation: HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is $223,622. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good-faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package.

• Productivity: Levels of productivity, quality and patient satisfaction.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.
• Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
• Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
• Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
