Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week outpatient imaging assignment in Ohio, requiring ARRT CT certification and experience with adult and pediatric CT procedures.

Details

• Outpatient surgery center setting in an ambulatory care environment
• CT unit performing a wide range of procedures including abdomen, pelvis, chest, carotid, trauma head, cervical, lumbar, and musculoskeletal studies
• Adult and pediatric patient population
• Average daily caseload of approximately 40 patients per tech
• Uses a Siemens CT scanner
• Epic EMR experience required
• 3x12-hour shifts: Friday 9:30 AM–10:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 7:30 AM–8:00 PM
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active ARRT CT certification required
• Current BLS required
• Active Ohio state licensure required (license required if applicable)
• Experience with adult and pediatric outpatient imaging
• Proficiency in contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and isolation precautions
• Ability to start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture
• Experience with 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration — at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Former employees of the facility are eligible to apply once they have been away for 6 months or more
• Up to 1 pre-approved time-off request per contract, limited to 7 days or less; RTO must be submitted at time of consideration
• All candidates are required to complete an Ohio fingerprinting process promptly after accepting an offer — candidates outside of Ohio may need to travel to a fingerprinting location or complete a mailed packet urgently upon receipt
• Pewter gray scrubs required
