The AGTEK/CAD Technician is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely quantity take-offs for site development, underground utility and roadway projects. Responsibilities Perform quantity take-offs for civil construction scopes of work including earthwork, underground utilities and roadways. Ability to effectively utilize computer software for quantity take-offs and estimate preparation (AGTEK, AutoCAD, HCSS Heavy Bid, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office). Assist the estimating and project management departments with the preparation of project proposals, change orders, etc. Prepare exhibits and drawings as needed to include with proposals for backup and clarification of bid quantities.
