Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: Physical Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: One (1+) year in acute, swing bed/skilled nursing, and/or outpatient settings. License: Must hold a current Physical Therapy License. Certifications: Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification, approved by the AHA. Must-Have: - Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. - Passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE). - Compliant with state regulatory requirements. Description: Schedule involves working in inpatient, swing bed, or skilled nursing facilities with the potential to cover at other locations as needed. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential. The candidate must be compassionate and attentive to detail. Possessing up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices is required. Ability to solve problems independently or know when to seek assistance is necessary. Strong analytical and logical thinking skills are important. The ability to manage patients with different personalities and diagnoses is crucial. Candidates must be able to write timely and accurate reports and correspondence at a professional level within departmental standards. Proficiency in using a computer and relevant software is required. A drive to continually learn new treatment techniques is essential. Timeliness and punctuality in all responsibilities are expected. The ability to multitask responsibilities effectively is important.
