Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse specializes in providing expert nursing care within a telemetry unit, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. This role involves direct patient care, clinical assessment, and collaboration with healthcare teams to monitor and respond to patient conditions effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' clinical conditions by performing comprehensive evaluations and monitoring vital signs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in accordance with nursing standards and patient needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Communicate promptly with physicians regarding changes in patient status, including cardiac monitoring results and diagnostic findings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and clinical observations in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid state RN license.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Bring ventilator management experience preferred.
• Have EPIC EMR experience required.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, quick response ability, and effective communication skills.
