Benefits Competitive salary Paid time off Training & development Wellness resources Job Summary Performs a variety of duties to include psychiatric office secretarial duties and administrative tasks which require knowledge of customer service, insurances, co-pays, deductibles, practice policies to ensure patient satisfaction and positive outcomes. Also assists with Certified Medical Assistant duties like vital signs, injection administration and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation treatments. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Greet visitors as soon as they enter, determine their needs and direct them to the proper area of the practice. Collect information from patients, including insurance information, money for copays and contact information to put into electronic medical record. Check insurance eligibility on patients with appointments and call patients whose insurance is not active. Answer the telephone and redirect calls to the appropriate staff member, and respond to voicemails in a timely manner. Maintain office inventory, ensuring there are always efficient levels of medical supplies and other office equipment. Assist medical staff with responding to correspondence, including email and physical letters. Takes monies owed, posts monies and produces a receipt for the patient. Schedules patient appointments, answers general questions, obtains authorizations and pre-authorizations for patient care services. Maintains master calendar for medical staff. Completes required paperwork or documentation. Ensure patient has signed consent forms for TMS, authorizations by insurance are in place and TMS sessions are administered according to protocols. Assist provider with cortical mappings, measurements and cap placement. Explaining TMS procedures and its possible effects on patients, as well as answering questions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
