Field Service Technician

Location: Irving, TX, 75247, United States. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks. Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks. Maintain a service van and its inventory. Process paperwork after completion of each job. Minimum Qualifications Less than 2 years of related experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks. Preferred Qualifications Good mechanical and electrical aptitude, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines, and ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. Good written and verbal communication skills and customer care orientation. Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment. Familiarity with tools such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and various testing equipment. Industry-related training preferred. Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through. Work Authorization Crown will only employ individuals who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
