The Opportunity:
Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As an experienced cloud computing infrastructure architect, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities. Here, you’ll oversee our team of experienced professionals and use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to guide your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help modernize critical Air Force cloud environments.

You’ll collaborate closely with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in Office 365, Azure, and AWS to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud solution components. You’ll have the chance to broaden your experience within a DevOps framework to create and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal Azure, AWS, and labs or training, you’ll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients’ problems, and you’ll partner with stakeholders and lead your team to deliver the right technical solutions. You Have:

• Experience designing and deploying AWS or GovCloud cloud architectures
• Knowledge of RMF, cATO, and secure cloud development practices
• Ability to apply hands‑on DevSecOps engineering skills, including CI/CD pipelines, GitLab or GitHub, and containers
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in STEM
• AWS or Kubernetes Certification

Nice If You Have:

• 7+ years of experience implementing secure cloud environments
• Experience implementing cross domain solutions
• Experience with HPC or large-sacle data processing environments
• Security+ or Azure Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
