Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time NYS Licensed Patrol in Corona NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate professionally and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors staff and individuals receiving services by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical emergencies and other critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas building perimeters entrances common spaces and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity assist with maintaining orderly entry procedures and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports patrol logs and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
