Financial Reporting Supervisor

Compensation: $135k + annually, depending on experience Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Financial Reporting Supervisor to join their team! In this role, you will help guide a team responsible for monthly financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support within a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Lead and support the financial reporting team. Set priorities and goals aligned with accounting objectives. Review journal entries for accuracy and timeliness. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Support ad hoc reporting and special accounting projects. Assist with annual audit preparation and coordination. Create and maintain desk procedures and workflows. Respond to internal and external accounting inquiries. Partner with other teams to support reporting needs. Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience in an Accounting Supervisor role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. Experience preparing and reviewing financial reports. Ability to manage large data sets with accuracy.Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and charts. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Team leadership and development experience. Nice to Have Skills & Experience: CPA or CMA certification. Experience in oil and gas accounting. Background supporting monthly financial close processes. Experience with audit support and documentation. Process improvement or workflow development experience. Exposure to commercial or contract administration teams. 20% bonus opportunity.
