MRI Technologist

The MRI Technologist is a full-time position in Port Angeles, Washington, responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols
2. Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
3. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout examinations
4. Operate and maintain MRI imaging equipment
5. Accurately document imaging procedures and patient records
6. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care
7. Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
8. Identify and troubleshoot equipment or imaging issues
9. Maintain a clean and organized imaging department
10. Provide compassionate care and clear patient communication

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT Certification required (or equivalent)
• Current BLS Certification required

Preferred Skills:

• MRI Certification preferred
• Washington State licensure or eligibility preferred
• Previous MRI experience preferred
