Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant to support the design, implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization of SAP Sales and Distribution processes. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver scalable solutions across order-to-cash (OTC) operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and implement SAP SD functionality covering Sales, Shipping, Billing, Pricing, and Logistics Execution.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD functional solutions.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and functional design activities.
• Configure sales order types, item categories, schedule line categories, copy controls, delivery types, billing types, and output determination.
• Design and maintain pricing procedures, condition techniques, discounts, surcharges, taxes, and pricing conditions.
• Configure and support order-to-cash (OTC) business processes.
• Implement and support shipping, delivery, picking, packing, transportation, and billing processes.
• Configure customer master data, partner determination, account determination, and credit management.
• Support integration between SAP SD and FI, MM, PP, WM/EWM, and other SAP modules.
• Work with technical teams on ABAP developments, user exits, BAdIs, enhancements, interfaces, forms, and reports.
• Support integration with external systems using APIs, IDocs, EDI, middleware, and other integration technologies.
• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, and S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Develop functional specifications, test scenarios, process documentation, and training materials.
• Execute unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, UAT, defect resolution, and production validation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline SD processes, improve automation, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and timely resolution.
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, developers, architects, and other functional teams.
• Provide post-go-live support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP SD functional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP SD and Order-to-Cash processes.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of sales order management, pricing, delivery, shipping, and billing.
• Experience with SAP SD integration with FI and MM.
• Hands-on experience with SAP configuration and functional troubleshooting.
• Experience preparing functional specifications and working with ABAP developers.
• Experience with SAP testing methodologies and UAT.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Sales.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP Best Practices.
• Experience with SAP EDI/IDoc integrations.
• Knowledge of SAP TM, EWM, GTS, or aATP is a plus.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience supporting SAP implementations, global rollouts, upgrades, and migrations.
• Strong experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• SAP SD certification is preferred.
