Be part of our exciting engineering team! Use your C#/.NET skills to develop a software system that drives a 3D graphics display. Work with a team to develop a full stack software suite and learn some Unreal Engine skills along the way. Thrive in our fun work environment while developing software that makes a difference. The duties and requirements of this position include but are not limited to the following:

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, code, and implement software modifications to enhance data collection, processing, analysis, and storage capabilities.
• Improve reliability and maintainability of software.
• Isolate and correct software faults, problem code, and inefficient software code that negatively affects the functional capabilities and efficient operation of the system.
• Perform studies and make recommendations to replace hardware/software tools and equipment that are no longer sustainable or meeting mission requirements.
• Identify, select, acquire, or install replacement hardware/software tools and equipment as directed by the government to ensure continued operations.
• Support operations, range equipment, and system operational test and evaluation activities by the Government or government contractors using system resources.

Minimum Education Level

• BS in Computer Science (or related field) from a fully accredited program or 8+ years of software engineering experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• 2+ years of software development experience. 8+ years of experience without a degree
• Proficient in C#
• Familiarity with the .NET framework.
• Ability to implement software based on requirements, ICDs, and standards.
• Familiarity with fundamental design principles (such as SOLID)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming.
• Experience with source control (such as Git, SVN, Perforce).
• Knack for writing clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• TDD (Test Driven Development) and unit test experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Useful Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• C++ development experience.
• Unreal Engine development experience
• 3D graphics programming in WebGL, OpenGL, or engines that use these underlying APIs.
• 2D/3D mapping, terrain rendering, or GIS related skills.
• Windows Presentation Framework (WPF) experience
• Recent development of multi-threaded applications.
• Implementing asynchronous communications in networked applications.
• Experience with relational databases; schemas, stored procedures, and data access layers.
• Experience with logging or any logging framework (such as NLog).
• Implement and maintain network infrastructure.

Additional Requirements

• US Citizen // Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• DESIRED candidate to reside in the Las Vegas area.
