Job Details Position: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Location: Danville, Virginia Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750-$1,840 Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment Start Date: 08/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Unit: Medical/Surgical Patient Ratio: 1:6 EHR: Meditech Schedule Notes: Weekend coverage every other weekend or as needed; call as needed; float as needed Job Requirements Active Virginia RN license or eligibility to practice in Virginia At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required Current BLS certification required NIH certification required HWC completion available on site Professional, team-oriented approach to patient care Ability to work nights, weekends, and floating assignments as needed Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to adult and general patient populations Perform patient assessments, monitor changes in condition, and communicate updates promptly Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient recovery Document care accurately in the EHR and maintain strong clinical communication Support admissions, discharges, transfers, and patient education Adapt to float assignments and help maintain smooth unit operations Why Join This Travel Nursing Assignment?
