Job Title: Machine Operator



Job Responsibilities:

• Operate high-speed finishing, gluing, and carton-making equipment.
• Perform machine setup and make-ready for production runs.
• Adjust forming bars and machine settings to meet product specifications.
• Fill glue systems and ensure proper adhesive application.
• Monitor machine performance and production quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor mechanical repairs.
• Escalate major mechanical problems to maintenance.
• Inspect cartons and finished products for quality compliance.
• Support job changeovers and production setup adjustments.
• Follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures at all times.

Required Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience operating high-speed manufacturing or packaging equipment.
• Ability to perform basic machine repairs and adjustments.
• Ability to read and follow production schedules and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills.
• Comfortable working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with printing, packaging, carton-making, or corrugated equipment.
• Familiarity with machine changeovers and make-ready processes.
• GMP manufacturing experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with production and industrial machinery.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced GMP-regulated manufacturing facility.
• Hands-on work with high-speed, belt-driven machinery.
• Production-focused environment with strong safety and quality standards.
• Majority of time spent on the production floor operating and adjusting equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Centralia, IL.

The pay range for this position is $24.91 - $27.36/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Centralia,IL.
