Mesilla Valley Hospital is seeking a talented and dynamic Director of Outpatient Services to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!

Mesilla Valley Hospital has been in operation since 1987, serving those in need of treatment for a variety of psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Mesilla Valley Hospital is a 120-bed facility, providing access to quality behavioral healthcare and substance abuse treatment to residents of New Mexico, West Texas and Arizona. MVH is the leader in providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services. Our commitment to care includes developing integrated delivery systems through partnerships with medical surgical hospitals, community mental health centers, educational institutions, managed care organizations, local health professionals and agencies.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Outpatient Services provides leadership for the development and implementation of the outpatient services of the hospital. The position is responsible for the administrative and clinical oversight of the services as well as the expansion of new services. Under the leadership of the hospital CEO and CMO the Outpatient Director ensures the OP services is managed following the mission/vision of the hospital and meets the patient and community needs.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling, Business Administration. Preferred licensed by the state of New Mexico in their perspective discipline. Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a behavioral health setting, and two year in leadership role.

SKILLS:

Ability to serve as the organization's primary resource regarding regulatory requirements such as JCAHO, CMS, OSHA, DOH, CYFD and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities relating to behavioral health/ substance abuse in Outpatient services.
