  • Surgical gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC)
• Licenses: Licensed in CA
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications: BLS, NRP
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent hospital OBGYN experience
• Other Qualifications: EMR proficiency with Epic, experience in miscarriage management

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology patients
• Manage low and high risk pregnancies, deliveries, and C-sections
• Perform gynecological surgeries and minor procedures
• Respond to emergency department consults and inpatient needs within 30 minutes
• Document patient encounters in Epic EMR
