Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to join our team as a Heavy Field Service Technician. We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956. More information about us can be found below or on our website. ABOUT THE POSITIONHeavy Field Service Technicians function as part of the Service Team and are responsible for the repair of heavy-classed industrial, construction, and material handling equipment.In this role, you will:Troubleshoot and Repair a variety of heavy equipment at various customer locations to bring each unit back to operational and safety standards.Effectively communicate with all involved parties including Salespeople, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers about possible downtime and job progress updates.Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision to decrease equipment downtime, while also maintaining safe working standards both on-site and during the operation of DOT-rated company vehicles.  COMPENSATION/BENEFITSCompetitive CompensationQuarterly Performance BonusesOvertime after 8 hours per dayFactory TrainingInsurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurances, plus several supplemental benefits)Generous PTO PlanPaid Holidays401k with company match  REQUIREMENTSMinimum 3 years of mechanical training/education, and/or experience in a related fieldPossessing or the ability to obtain a complete line of tools, including specialized tools needed to complete jobs at customer locationsMinimum 21 years of ageClean driving recordAbility to obtain DOT medical certificationHigh school diploma or equivalent SKILLS THAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS MAY INCLUDE:Above-average communication skillsability to read or be trained in reading schematicsability to accomplish duties with accuracy and timelinessability to work independently with minimal supervision RELATED EXPERIENCE MAY INCLUDE: Material Handling Technician, Material Handling Mechanic, Forklift Mechanic, Forklift Technician, Heavy Construction Mechanic, Heavy Construction Technician, Field Service Technician, Field Service Mechanic, Equipment Mechanic, Equipment Technician, Diesel Tech, Diesel Mechanic [This position is deemed a Safety Sensitive job for purposes of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment, the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act, and the Louisiana Therapeutic Marijuana Act.] ABOUT US:Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is a full-service equipment dealer headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas since 1956.
