About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry (RN – TELE)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established nursing protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Georgia or a compact license recognized in Georgia
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior experience in a telemetry or cardiac monitoring environment
• Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms and telemetry data

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems in an acute care setting
• ACLS certification
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced hospital environment
